Before you start#

Before you start working with WABA, you need to complete the following steps, and then contact our technical support to connect and clarify the commercial offer:

  1. Prepare a phone number for a WABA account
  2. Create the Facebook account
  3. Create the Facebook Business Portfolio (FBM) for the company
  4. Prepare your company description
  5. Register in your GREEN-API personal account using your corporate email
  6. Ending preparation and next steps

After these steps are completed, contact technical support. Connection on weekdays (Mon. - Fri. from 11.00 - 18.00 GMT+3) takes approximately 2 hours.

1. Prepare a phone number for a WABA account#

To work with Facebook and send mailings using WABA, you will need to have a phone number with the ability to receive SMS messages.

  • The phone number should not be linked to a WhatsApp account
  • One WABA account can be registered per phone number

2. Create the Facebook account#

  • Go to facebook.com* and click Create account.
  • Enter your name, email address, mobile phone number, password, date of birth, and gender.
  • Click Register.
  • To complete account creation, you need to confirm your email address and mobile phone number.

3. Create the Facebook Business Portfolio (FBM) for the company#

  1. Using your computer browser, go to adsmanager.facebook.com/.
  2. Click on the account next to the campaign selection.
  3. Click on the Create Business Portfolio button.

  4. Enter your company information.

    • Business portfolio name. This should match the official name of your company or organization, as it will be available on Meta platforms. The name should not contain special characters.
    • Your first and last name.
    • The company's working email address. This is how Meta will contact your company. The email address will not be visible to clients.

  5. Click the Create button to create a portfolio. You will receive an email asking you to confirm your company email address.

  6. Click Skip or answer additional questions on the remaining pop-ups.

  7. On the last pop-up, check and confirm the business portfolio details. If everything is entered correctly, click the confirm button.

  8. Refresh the created page and go to the company settings of the created business portfolio.

  9. Go to the business portfolio information.

  10. Click the edit button in the company details field and fill in all the fields.

  11. Verify the email.

  12. Perform two-factor authentication (optional).

4. Prepare your company description#

Prepare a company description of no more than 139 characters, the description must include the company name and the company website, with the name indicated in the Facebook business portfolio, and later pass the description to the technical support employee.

5. Register in your GREEN-API personal account using your corporate email#

To use our service, go to console and register. Registration procedure:

  1. Enter your email.

We recommend using corporate email to prevent loss of access to your account if an employee leaves.

  1. Enter your password and confirm it. The password must be at least 6 characters long.
  2. Select your country.
  3. After accepting the user agreement, click the Register button.
  4. An email will be sent to your email address. Enter the code provided in the email to confirm your account.

Ending preparation and next steps#

Once you have completed steps 1 through 5 and you have access to your phone and email, please contact our technical support to complete your WABA registration.
