How to determine if WhatsApp has unblocked my number?#
In order to have your number unblocked, you first need to request a review.
After that, there are several ways to check the status of the number.
Check in WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business#
If you haven't logged out of your account:#
Open the app — depending on the number status, one of the following windows will appear:

This account has been restored
The number has been restored and is ready to use.
You need to verify your account to connect. -
This account can no longer use WhatsApp
Request review
The unblocking request has not been sent.
You need to request a review.Check review status
The request is under review.

Login not available right now
If WhatsApp says: "Login not available right now", it means the number is blocked without the possibility of recovery.
We recommend using another number to connect.
If you logged out of your account:#
- Open the WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business App;
- Accept the terms of use;
- Enter the phone number to register;
If the app now allows you to request an SMS or call to confirm your number, then your number has been unblocked.
Important
Even if the number is already unblocked, SMS and calls may not arrive for 1-3 days.
Checking via WhatsApp with another active account#
- Log in to the WhatsApp Messenger application on your mobile phone
- Press 3 dots, go to settings ->
Account
->Add account
. - Accept the terms of use;
- Enter the phone number for registration;
If the app now allows you to request an SMS or call to confirm your number, then your number has been unblocked.
Important
Even if the number is already unblocked, SMS and calls may not arrive for 1-3 days.
Partial Unlock from WhatsApp#
In case the number is partially unlocked, WhatsApp will show the notification:
"We couldn't send an SMS to your number"
We recommend to take a break for 1-2 days and try to authorize your WhatsApp account.
If after this time SMS with the code does not come, you need to repeat the request to WhatsApp to unlock the number.

Additional recommendations:
- Reboot the device;
- Update the app;
- Try another version of the app: WhatsApp / WhatsApp Business;
- Change device.
